Description
The rubber cross-shaped drive shaft coupling with U-bolts and nuts which was fitted to all standard models except automatics until 1973 when the pot joint was introduced. This was also used on the Cooper S until 1966.
A stronger version is QL5000 which has a needle roller UJ and is slightly smaller giving better clearance when fitting an LCB manifold.
