Description

Alloy water pump with bypass take off this is a small impellor pump designed for early 850cc and 998cc engines and replaces the original cast iron pump where fitted.  The impellor at the pump side protrudes 9mm into the block and is usually mated with a small water pump pulley (cam6239).  Later vehicles changed to a much better larger impellor pump (GWP134) to reduce cavitation and increase more flow and mated to the slightly larger pump pulley (cam6408) as also found on early cooper s models.
