When carriage charges are applied, the actual carriage charge will take into account the final size & volumetric weight of the packaged items.

Due to the nature of how some courier companies work and operate, Highlands and Islands customers of the U.K may find their order will default to a quote due to the shipping criteria costs in which we will quote accordingly based on size and weight.

Delivery Terms

UK Mainland

We aim to ship, where possible all small postal orders received before 13:00 on the same working day though this may get delayed if we are extremely busy our advice is to always call and check as we can be delayed by a day or two around bank holidays , postal orders are all shipped on a 24Hr/48Hr basis depending on which service has been selected, and should be delivered the following day if 24Hr is selected (this is not guaranteed by us or the courier) the exception to this is if you live off the UK mainland, delivery to those areas is based on Royal Mails delivery time, these you can get from the Royal Mail website, (www.royalmail.com).

All orders over 2Kg, received before 13:00 will be shipped by courier, if you have paid the express delivery fee then expect to receive the item up to 48hrs after ordering.

When ordering goods for or to a business or third-party address, the business name and unit number must be included in the delivery address as well as a Day time contact number, this will ensure the order is delivered in timely manner.

We do not accept responsibility for lost items if incorrect address details have been provided at the time of ordering.

Untracked postage services chosen when ordering the responsibility lies with the purchaser to pay for a replacement item if the items are lost in the post.

We cannot guarantee next day delivery, if a problem has occurred within the postal system or courier service network.

For express delivery we try to ship items on a 24hr service, orders placed before 13:00 of a Friday we aim for that order to be delivered on a Monday, Friday orders received into our ordering system after 13:00 orders should be delivered by Tuesday.

We are a small team and we cannot guarantee that all orders that come through on a express service will be delivered the next day during times of peak demand, orders are processed and picked as they come through the system in a queue and take time to be carefully packaged, always call and let us know if your items are urgent in which we can try to prioritize.

Highlands and Islands (Scilly Isles, Isle of Man, Scottish Highlands & Islands)

The exception to the above is if you live in what is classified as Highland and Island then the delivery will take a little longer depending on the postcode, most deliveries to these locations are normally completed in 3-5 days.

International Shipping Rates

IMPORTANT – THE CHARGE BANDS UPWARD FROM 1.6Kg EXCLUDING PACKAGING ARE APPROXIMATELY EVERY 25Kg AS CALCULATED, THIS OFTEN MEANS THAT YOU CAN ADD SOME PARTS TO YOUR ORDER WITHOUT ANY EXTRA CARRIAGE. i.e. IF THE WEIGHT OF THE GOODS IS LOWER THAN 25KG YOU CAN ADD GOODS THAT BRING THE TOTAL UPTO 24KG WITH NO EXTRA COST, FOR BEST VALUE CARRIAGE ALWAYS TRY TO BE NEAR THE TOP LIMIT OF THE WEIGHT BAND THAT YOUR ORDER IS IN. (i.e. 24kg once over this the carriage band is calculated as 50kg).

All International Orders up to 1.6kg including packaging are dispatched by Airmail size limits apply to this service in the case of an oversize item being included the order will default to quotation. Orders over 2Kg including packaging are dispatched by Air & Land Carrier. PLEASE NOTE: Some exceptions will apply i.e. Roof, Full floors & other volumetrically large items. Our checkout will automatically calculate the weight & volume and resultant carriage cost of most orders. All prices quoted are subject to VAT at the current rate where applicable. All overseas orders will be charged according to weight & volume. Additional Notes, Whilst the carriage from completed orders cannot be shared with any new order, we will do our best to physically add additional parts to a completed order wherever feasible. Complications with carriage weight bands can easily occur if additional weight is added to a completed order. For example, where most carriage weight bands including packing change at 30kg it may be possible just by adding 150g to a parcel of 29.95kg to cause it to go into the next weight band and so incur an additional carriage cost of 7.95 to the U.K. or 39.95 to much of Europe. In this example it would be much cheaper to send the additional parts as a separate order by Royal Mail to the U.K. or Airmail to Europe. Comparative additional costs would be £1.50 & £2.50 respectively.
